No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy

At Canterbury Foot Care and Surgery, our goal is to provide quality medical care in a timely manner. When a patient misses an appointment or cancels late, it prevents another patient from receiving necessary care. To ensure optimal access for everyone, we enforce the following policy:

24-Hour Notice Required

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us enough time to offer the time slot to another patient on our waiting list.

Definition of a No-Show

An appointment is considered a "no-show" if you:

Do not arrive for your scheduled appointment.

Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice.

Arrive more than 10 minutes late, which prevents the medical provider from completing your consultation.

A $40 fee will be charged to your account.

Note: No-show fees are out-of-pocket expenses and are not covered by insurance or public health funding. This balance must be paid before booking your next appointment.

No-Show Fees

Patients who accumulate three (3) no-shows within a 12-month period may be discharged from the clinic practice at the discretion of the management.

Repeated No-Shows

Emergencies and Exceptions

We understand that sudden illness, accidents, and emergencies happen. If you miss your appointment due to an unavoidable emergency, please contact our clinic to discuss waiving the fee.
